Ulnar Nerve Entrapment at the Elbow (Cubital Tunnel Syndrome)

Ulnar nerve entrapment occurs when the ulnar nerve in the arm becomes compressed or irritated. The ulnar nerve is one of the three main nerves in your arm. It travels from your neck down into your hand, and can be constricted in several places along the way. Depending upon where it occurs, this pressure on the nerve can cause numbness or pain in your elbow, hand, wrist, or fingers.

Tennis Elbow – (TEARS OF THE COMMON EXTENSOR TENDON)

Arthroscopic surgery has also become a treatment option for tennis elbow. Arthroscopic procedures allow to view within the elbow joint to ensure there is no other source for the pain, and also allows for removal of damaged tendon without detachment of the tendon from the bone. While arthroscopic surgery for tennis elbow is relatively new, early results have been encouraging with high rates of success.
